Hopewell Junction is a hamlet of the Town of East Fishkill and easily accessible off of I-84, Routes 52, 82 and Route 376 from many other local towns. Hopewell (as most call it), is a small town with plenty of local businesses with pride in the local John Jay High School and the historic Hopewell Depot Museum, a train station built in 1873.

The Hopewell Depot is completely volunteer-run and loaded with amazing history from it’s first purpose as a fully functioning train station, both commercial and passenger, to being burned down in an arson fire and being completely re-built and now serves as a very-special museum for train and history enthusiasts!

IBM’s Northeast Headquarters was built just down the road in 1962 as the global giant’s research hub. With that, a housing boom occurred to accommodate all the employees, both travelling in to and living in the area of their headquarters. All types of homes, neighborhoods and shopping popped up to help keep up with the populations needs. This boom helped spread out to other outlying towns and further increased the demographics of the Hudson Valley. While IBM doesn’t operate completely from their anymore, many forward thinking concepts have stepped in to create a conglomeration of retail, industrial, manufacturing, warehousing and other inventive facilities have taken up the old spaces no longer needed.

After a home disaster all you want is someone to come in and make it all go away. ServPro was able to do that for me. I was third party so after the initial estimate it was a day or so and then they showed up in force to mitigate my salt water mess. They removed damaged baseboard and rug pads, mold proofed everything then set up fans and dehumidifiers to dry the whole thing. Everything ran for three days. A team came back after everything was dry and attempted to clean the badly salt damaged rug. I was surprised they even tried but they made a valiant effort and I appreciate the effort. I am extremely satisfied with the work that was done to mitigate my brine tan overflow. I recommend ServPro for any home disaster militating work.
