Minot is known throughout the military world as the "Bomber Base", and for good reason! The Minot Air Force Base is home to two major units: The 5th Bomb Wing and the 91st Missile Wing are Air Force Global Strike Command Units.

The 5th Bomb Wing, known by their nickname, "The Warbirds", controls a fleet of B-52H Stratofortress bombers. The men and women of the wing are capable of flying anywhere around the world and delivering a wide range of precision-guided bombs and munitions. Their motto, "Guardians of the Upper Realm", is nothing short of the truth.

The 91st Missile Wing, known by their nickname, "Rough Riders", are one of three of the Air Force's intercontinental ballistic missile units, and are responsible for strategic deterrence by operating, maintaining and securing a fleet of 150 Minuteman III missiles located in underground launch facilities, known as "silos", positioned in a 8,500 square mile missile complex located in the northwest parts of North Dakota. If you were to take a drive down to Bismarck from Minot, you would see one of these "silos" on the right hand side of the road!

Minot residents are no stranger to when one of the Minuteman missiles are on the move. Looking like an operation straight from a war movie, a gigantic semi-truck with no markings other than "FLAMMABLE" and "DANGEROUS" rolls through town escorted by local police, Humvee's with mounted Airman, and no less than two helicopters, all with their sights pointed at the truck and its surroundings scanning for possible threats. If you see this parade coming, get out of the way!

With all this "military might", Minot seems like a town where nothing could happen. Unfortunately, it can. In the summer of 2011, the Souris River weaving through Minot flooded the valley. Countless homes, businesses and schools were damaged or destroyed. Since then, SERVPRO has been prepared in case of another storm and water disaster should occur. SERVPRO is here and ready to help its community to make it seem "Like it never even happened".

What our Minot customers are saying

I have a rather large home..4 bedrooms and a huge family room in the basement. SERVPRO showed up smiling and oh so very nice!! I had already moved the majority of furniture off the carpet but even the things I didn't move they moved for me. I had a pet that was marking in several areas and told them where the problem areas were. They spent extra time on those and even went back to a couple areas at the end to make sure they were clean. My carpets are far from new however they look and smell great! I would recommend them 100%. So nice to have professionals come into your home be friendly, on time, do a great job and take pride in a job well done. Will use them again!

The Minot team is always responsive and helpful. I had a reoccurring sewage issue that was out of town and they came out quickly, and always do great work.
