Nestled on the beautiful North Shore of Lake Sakakawea and near Lake Audubon, Garrison is the gateway to fishing in the summer and a hotspot for hunting in the winter. With just over 1,500 people, Garrison is a small community but bustling with activities throughout the year. One of their most notable ones is the Dickens Village Festival at Christmas time. This festival transforms Garrison into the Charles Dickens era with horse-drawn carriage rides, fruit cakes, feasts, parades and no humbug to be seen!
Garrison is known as the "Walleye Capitol of the World." Home of Wally the Walleye, the 26 foot Walleye located at the end of Main Street in the City Park. This designation can be attributed to the bountiful fishing opportunities that Lake Sakakawea provides. Also, the Custer Mine Interpretive Site is a parcel of land that showcases a piece of Garrison's early coal mining history. Formerly the Truax-Taer Mine, the site was established in 1989 as part of North Dakota's Centennial celebration. The site includes signage explaining the history of the area and a scenic overlook.

I have a rather large home..4 bedrooms and a huge family room in the basement. SERVPRO showed up smiling and oh so very nice!! I had already moved the majority of furniture off the carpet but even the things I didn't move they moved for me. I had a pet that was marking in several areas and told them where the problem areas were. They spent extra time on those and even went back to a couple areas at the end to make sure they were clean. My carpets are far from new however they look and smell great! I would recommend them 100%. So nice to have professionals come into your home be friendly, on time, do a great job and take pride in a job well done. Will use them again!
