They also have a soccer complex that was recently updated with a concession stand and shelter house for family gatherings, reunions and birthday parties. Their city and private golf courses are a highlight during open season. If disc golf is your thing, they have that too.  If you own a pup, then exercise is always key to a full life, and you may find comfort knowing the dog park is a great local option for you and your furry friend. In the warmer months they host an array of outdoor concerts and events for all ages. The municipal band helps entertain and is a fan favorite. There is a local YMCA facility with great before and after school activities as well as a Movie theater to entertain all walk of life. Another asset that Cameron brings to its residents and surrounding cities is the Cameron Regional Medical Center. Their advanced facility provides excellent healthcare options to the entire Northwest region. February 3rd, 2026 there was a 5 alarm fire in Cameron MO as downtown buildings burned to the ground. Buildings over 100 years old received smoke and water damage as they were connected to the burned buildings. ServPro Brian and his crew that included Michaela, Maci, Skylar, and Abbey have been nothing short of amazing. Very professional. Danielle and Luke are always available for questions to assist in navigating difficult questions and staying in touch with the timeline.
