McDaniel College is a private 4-year college nestled in the rural Carroll County, Maryland. Established back in 1867, McDaniel College was formerly known back then as Western Maryland College and was changed in 2002 to McDaniel College. An interesting fact about McDaniel College is back in the earlier days of its existence, it was the first coeducational institution that was south of the Mason-Dixson line.
Known as a Liberal Arts College, McDaniel offers its students more than 70 undergraduate programs of various studies. The more popular pathways at McDaniel College are, Pre-Allied Health, Pre-Med, and Pre-Law, and a very popular teaching certification.
The campus housing (Rouzer Hall, Whiteford Hall, and Daniel MacLea Hall just to name a few) and the number of academic buildings located on this 160-acre property lends itself to potential water losses such as broken and frozen pipes.
