Elkton is a small town that is community-based and one that SERVPRO is proud to be a part of. We sponsor and participate in many events around Elkton and the surrounding area.
Elkton is home to several parks that are maintained by Cecil County in addition to the popular Milburn Orchards. Named one of the best apple orchards in America, Milburn is a top attraction for the area with locally grown fruits and vegetables sold as well. The orchards were also inducted into the Maryland Agricultural Hall of Fame.
Elkton is also home to the Historical Society of Cecil County, a building that holds over three hundred years of history for the area and is located in the town’s courthouse. Even more history took place in the region during the Revolutionary War; troops had landed on the Elk River and marched to other areas for combat.
The town is rich with history but also significant climate conditions. While the summers are typically quite extreme, the area also suffers a vast amount of storms, making flooding and other forms of water damage common. The office was quick to respond to our issue and work was done in an expedient manner. All personnel were courteous and helpful and the crew doing the work did so with care. If you have a flooded basement, as we did, I recommend them highly.
Ethan and Ben showed up on time and worked hard all day to clean our ducts. We have two zone heating with two separate systems, which complicates the process and extends the time it takes. They removed all the vent covers and registers and cleaned them thoroughly while they cleaned every duct. It's a messy process with everything coming out of the ducts but they vacuumed and wiped down all the walls and surfaces they touched when providing the service. The ducts came out super clean. Ethan insisted on doing a walk through in every room to make sure everything was put back in order and we were satisfied. I would highly recommend this company and both Ethan and Ben.
SERVPRO gets an A+ from us...we had a mess when our septic backed up and they came in and worked their butts off to get us cleaned up. Huge thanks to George and team as well as Ethan when he first came out. Highly recommend them...they work fast and are so committed to quality and making sure we were happy.
This team of young men were the best hardest workers I’ve ever seen. Ethan, Ben, Josh and Rob were outstanding! They almost never took a break and they did a LOT of heavy lifting because I have a lot of “stuff”. It is not fun having water in your basement but they made it tolerable with their super work ethic and positive upbeat attitude.
Mike B and his crew did a great job cleaning up the water mess. They acted swiftly and were very thorough! It really was "Like it never even happened". Thanks SERVPRO!!
