Medfield is a town in Norfolk County, Massachusetts. It is a community about 17 miles southwest of Boston, Massachusetts. 

This town is home to a large collection of First-Period American homes. A minimum of three Medfield homes date are the Peak House, the Dwight-Derby House, and the Lowell Mason House.

Beginning in the mid-1800s and continuing well into the 1900s, Medfield established itself as an appealing venue. The 20th century brought both growth and conservation and preservation movements. 

Ralph Wheelock, a graduate of Cambridge University, is the founder of Medfield. It was finally incorporated as the 43rd town in Massachusetts on June 2, 1651.

The main attractions are Hinkley Pond and the Peak House.

Peak House is on the National Register of Historic Places. The steep roof has the highest pitch on record in Massachusetts.

Medfield Historical Society on Pleasant Street contains historic artifacts and documents. 

Rocky Woods is a reservation in the northeast part of town. The property has 6.5 miles of nature trails, a few ponds for fishing, and open space for picnics and barbecues.

Noon Hill is a hill in Medfield at 370 feet with a trail to its peak. There are a total of 4.5 miles of trails around the hill.
