One such listing, Georgetown Town Hall, is home to one of the most hotly contested, but prized, historical possessions; “Old Nancy,” a cannon from Revolutionary War times. What to most is an indiscriminate old war relic has been the subject of a 200-year harmless dispute between Georgetown and neighboring Rowley, both of whom claim to possess the real cannon. Georgetown is also home to Erie 4, the oldest privately owned and operated fire company in the country.
