The community’s most notable historical feature is its post office, which was established in 1854 and operated until it was discontinued in 1902. After a fire damage incident, oily residues are the most difficult to remove during restoration. SERVPRO techs use two techniques to remove such residues- emulsification and dissolution. Cleaning agents with detergents can emulsify the oily residues, while those containing organic solvents can dissolve them. In both cases, SERVPRO techs ensure that the cleaning agent used does not cause damage to the surface being cleaned.
