The community houses a church called "Apostolic Light House" that is rich in history. Monroe City also has an RV park located right outside of their city limits.

One year ago this month my basement flooded. My insurance agent stopped by and called SERVPRO of Vincinnes right away!! They were there the next morning early and they were there for the next four days with dryers and dehumidifiers and everything that they needed to make sure my basement was safe and not going to grow mold and I really appreciate everything that they did. In today's environment these guys are second to none. We had a mold issue, our furnace vents were cleaned, and the outside of our siding and gutters were cleaned up after mold. They really made it "Like it never even happened."
