Braidwood is located 53 miles southwest of Chicago, giving this town a beautiful suburban rural mix feeling. The Rt 66 Scenic Bypass has a few must see stops if traveling through. Polk a Dot is a 1950's themed diner. Besides serving great burgers, fries and shakes you can see or even have your photo taken with many life sized statues at this diner. Some statues you will see include Elvis Presley, Betty Boop, and James Dean to name a few. Across the street you will find "Braidwood Zoo" which has a cage filled with animals such as a giraffe, polar bear, cow which were made by a local artist from the area. Also located in Braidwood is The Sun Motel formerly known as The Braidwood Inn which was featured in the movie Planes, Trains, and Automobiles staring John Candy and Steve Martin. Braidwood is a close knit town and each summer since 1981 The Lion's Club Summerfest happens in the city park. The town comes together to celebrate summer with a carnival, games, live entertainment, a flea market, parade, fireworks and much more.

Received daily visits to make sure basement was drying out & everyone was very nice. They cleaned up a mess that I could never do myself with a smile on their face saying that’s our job!

We had a water leak that ran through three floors of our home. Our insurance recommended we reach out to a damage/restoration company which led me to SERVPRO new Lenox/frankfort. The job is still on going but I am so pleased by this company I'm leaving this review before the job is complete. Everyone I've encountered (Christian, Alex) have been so professional and kind, on time, clean (I can't believe how neat someone can be while taking out water damaged drywall but these guys are). Having your home upended is not fun, but this experience was made 100 times less painful because of this company and their employees. I really am blown away by what a positive experience this has been. 10/10.
