The City of Columbus, GA was founded in 1828 by an act of the Georgia Legislature. Columbus is located off of the Chattahoochee River and on the last stretch of the Federal Road before entering Alabama. The City of Columbus, was named after Christopher Columbus. The Chattahoochee River was used as a shipping path to trade supplies throughout the Southeast Region. The railways and the textile industries became an important part to the City and the Commercial Industrialism area. By use of the Chattahoochee River, tradesmen were able to use the river system to transport, their crops, and export them into other regions of the Country. The cotton trade became apart of the City of Columbus, major trade industry. With these textiles it earned the nickname the Lowell of the South, referring to an important textile mild town in Massachusetts.
Today's Columbus, is a little different, we no longer use the Chattahoochee River for trades, instead we are set up for the tourist industry. However, the tourist that do visit our great City have the opportunity to visit landmarks, museums, and go White Water Rafting on the Chattahoochee River.

They took care of the mold and repaired the damage cause by the leak. They do great work and were a pleasure to work with.
