East Granby, CT is a small town in Hartford County, Connecticut. The population was listed as only 5214 at the 2020 census. The town gets its name from its neighboring town, as it lies directly east of Granby, CT. Originally settled as a Congregational parish of Simsbury in 1664, East Granby was officially incorporated as a town in 1858. The first incorporated copper mine in America resided in what is now East Granby. The mine later became Old Newgate Prison, a Revolutionary War jail and the first state prison in the United States.

Marcello was extremely thorough with his inspection of the water damage caused by a leaking ceiling pipe in basement. Marilyn & Lizbeth, were the agents who came to remove the many fans, the dehydrator and the trash barrel full of about 20 gallons of water. I was very pleased with the courtesy shown, their warm personalities, and sheer strength at the women's ability to carry fans and move that bucket of water up the basement stairs.
