Lake Mathews is a major reservoir that sits at an elevation of 1,775 feet in Southern California. The city of Lake Mathews has grown from being originally named the Cajalco Reservoir which has now grow the Lake Mathews we know today. Lake Mathews that grown small resort town to a suburban city with a population 7,000 residents but it still has the small country feel. Lake Mathews is home of recreational opportunities such as fishing, boating, and camping activities for everyone to enjoy.
