About Chollas Lake
Chollas Lake is a hot spot for outdoor lovers here in San Diego, CA! Chollas Lake was built it 1901 to help with San Diego's water supply in the early days. In 1971 the purpose of the lake transitioned to become a youth fishing lake for children ages 15 and under only. The lake is now owned by the Parks & Recreation Department.
For the runners and hikers out there, Chollas Lake has an 0.8-mile dirt path around the lake for walking, jogging, exercising, & bicycling, and hiking trails. Chollas Lake is the ultimate family-friendly hot spot. It features picnic tables with barbecue grills, children's play equipment, a multi-purpose ball field in North Chollas canyon, and a small basketball court. It is a perfect place for outdoor exercise, along with enjoying the breeze and local wildlife here. The facility is free, pet friendly, and overall a great spot for locals and tourists alike!

We had an urgent "dead animal smell" in our guest room. The initial faint bad odor rapidly became a disgusting stench over 12 hours. We searched everywhere without identifying its source. We suspected the source was in the wall. SERVPRO was called and immediately came to investigate. Isaac and his helper agreed that yes the smell was overwhelming, disgusting, and almost certainly in the guest room closet wall. They removed a small section of drywall, identified a rat nest with dead rats. They cleaned up the rank mess, sterilized the area with disinfectant and recommended a filtering fan then cleaned the air and removed the majority of the odor within a few hours. They also identified the rat entry route and sealed it.
Isaac and his helper were Godsends.
