When Water, Fire, and Storm Damage Happens in Arab, We're Ready.
Whether you're looking for restoration, cleaning or construction services in Arab, we're here to help 24/7.
Arab, Alabama was incorporated in 1892, though it established in the 1840s and was previously known as ”Thompson’s Village”. This quaint feeling city is located between Huntsville and Guntersville, a top Brindlee Mountain, which is one of the highest points in the state. Brindlee Mountain sits at the Southwest end of the Appalachian Plateau. Arab is located in both Marshall and Cullman Counties. The name of this city was actually an unintentionally misspelled word. The town was to be called Arad after the son of the town’s founder. However, the postal service misspelled the name and now Arab is commonly listed on lists of places with unusual names.
If you would like to see what Thompson’s Village/Arab looked like back in the day, you’re in luck. Arab’s Historic Village was developed in the early 1990’s. All the items and furnishings featured in this area are reminiscent of the late 1800’s and early 1900’s.
Arab has one of the top-rated schools in the state of Alabama, and has for 25 consecutive years. Schools tend to be a hotbed of illnesses. SERVPRO’s highly trained and certified technicians perform cleaning and disinfecting services to schools and commercial properties. Along with water damage restoration, fire damage restoration, mold remediation and more.
Many industrial businesses decided to take root in Arab. Frogg Toggs, Atrion Medical Products and Progress Rail (a Caterpillar Company) are just a few. Factories are prone to water and fire damage. SERVPRO’s dedicated technicians are always here to help. Our team members are certified in water and fire damage restoration, biohazard and crime scene clean up, mold remediation and more.

My name is Mr. Danny F. Pressley and I would like to say that Dennis Anderson of Anniston, Alabama SERVPRO, is truly a professional and he represented the “SERVPRO” shield well. He “Served and operates as a Pro.” During the most resent tornado in Jacksonville, Alabama in March 2018, Mr. Anderson was assigned to recover our home and he and his crew did that with excellence. Mr. Anderson dresses as a pro everyday, he works harder and sets the example for his subordinates. His workers enjoyed working for him and it showed, and he kept me, the home owners informed of where they were in the recovery process. Please reward him with greater responsibility, because he truly is a leader and he represents SERVPRO well. Than you Mr. Anderson and the SERVPRO Team.
