The beautiful city of Albertville, Alabama was established in 1891. Seated at the crossroads of Sand Mountain close to the center of Marshall County, this city is family friendly and lovingly referred to as “The Heart of Sand Mountain.” Here you can see expansion and modern architecture, but a drive through downtown (specifically Main Street) will give you a slice of historical old-world charm. Albertville is well known for the annual Main Street Music Festival which was formerly held on actual Main Street. The location of the festival changed when Albertville built their new facility complete with a concert arena on a 130+ acre site. The Sand Mountain Park and Amphitheater also house a water park, pools, sports fields and so much more.
An interesting fact, outside the Albertville Chamber of Commerce sits a chrome fire hydrant. The reason behind this unusual fire hydrant is to commemorate the one millionth fire hydrant produced at Mueller, located in this great city. Now, Albertville holds the title of “Fire Hydrant Capital of the World.”
Albertville is also home to a variety of industrial businesses. Kabco Homes, Newman Technology, Progress Rail, Wayne Farms, Tyson Foods, Pilgrim's Pride and Mitchell Grocery Corporation are just some of the businesses in the industrial area. Commercial/Industrial businesses have water and fire damages. When those situations arise SERVPRO is available 24/7/365 to get these businesses back running through our certified and trained technicians efficient and professional work.
Something we are used to in Alabama is tornadoes. 2010 brought one of the worst Albertville has seen, leaving a trail of devastation in its wake. While the Lamey’s did not own the Marshall County franchise then, we have still seen our share of storm damage. Our trained technicians work quickly to get any water from storm damage mitigated to prevent further damage. Alabama’s hot humid summers can cause mold or microbial growth damage. We have trained and certified technicians to remediate any mold damage our climate may cause.
