Founded in 1859, Kenova has been a charming gem for the state of West Virginia. Kenova was founded next to the corn harvesting town of Ceredo. The residents in Kenova took an early involvement in the development of CSX Railway, which became the main employer for many in the city of Kenova. Currently, the town is just a few miles away from the larger city of Huntington, which is where majority of employment is found currently.



Kenova is a quaint town currently, with only 3,000 people living within the city limits.
