History of Tomah

Tomah, Wisconsin was founded by Senator John Johnston in 1847. It began as a military settlement, and saw its first settlement by Captain William Emerson with his soldiers. Later immigrants came to the area to farm and raise livestock. The first settlers lived in log cabins and completed subsistence farming, meaning that they grew only enough food to survive. They relied on hunting and fishing to get meat so they did not require many animals for meat consumption.

My insurance company contacted Servpro late in the day for a bad septic back up. The next morning I received a call from Servpro stating they would be out to the house in a couple of hours. Each employee I spoke to was very professional in explaining what they were doing and when they would finish for the day. Servpro employees worked their behinds off ripping up floors, walls and removing insulation, disinfecting and removing the septic backup from underneath the house and replacing the insulation..
