Redwater, Tx. Redwater is twelve miles southwest of Texarkana in southeastern Bowie County. It grew up in the mid-1870s around a sawmill operated by two men named Daniels and Spence, who named the community Ingersoll, in honor of the agnostic Robert Ingersoll. A post office was established in 1881, and by 1884 the town had an estimated population of fifty In 1894, the town name of Ingersoll was officially changed to Redwater as the result of a revival. They chose the name because nearly all of the springs and shallow wells in the area had a reddish color.

"We had an HVAC leak above the air intake crawl space. I had a fan on it for over a week, it just wouldn't dry, and the whole house started to smell like mildew. SERVPRO sent Corey King. He arrived on time and ready to fix our problem. The crawl space was still at 100% saturation. He treated the area for mold and then set up a dehydrator, fan, and a drain line. He said it would take 3 days to dry completely. He arrived 3 days later. He tested multiple areas of the crawl space to make sure it was dry, pulled all the equipment out and then he treated the crawl space and the hvac cabinet above it for mold one more time at my request. Corey was so professional and he was so patient with all our questions. I would definitely recommend SERVPRO to clean up after a leak/flood."
