Bell Buckle is a town located in Bedford County that was established in 1852 as a railroad village. According to the 2020 census it is the home to 410 residents, though thousands of people visit every year to visit downtown and enjoy the various festivals hosted annually. With an area of only 0.51 square miles, Bell Buckle is nestled between the Bell River Creek and the Wartrace Creek, both of which are fed by the Duck River.

Bell Buckle is most well-known for the Webb School and its numerous festivals, like the RC Cola and Moonpie Festival, held in historic downtown. The Webb school was founded by William R. Webb in Culleoka, TN but eventually relocated to Bell Buckle. The Webb School is a private college preparatory boarding school that is known for producing more Rhodes Scholars than any other secondary school in the United States.

While Bell Buckle is a small town, with the number of visitors that grace the town every year, disaster can happen at any time.
