Ninety Six, SC is located in Greenwood County and was established on the frontier of the early 18th century, roughly around 1730. The Salvador and DaCosta families bought 200,000 acres intending to help the poor relocate from London to the new world. Ninety Six figured prominently in the revolutionary war as the first land battle was fought in Ninety Six in November, 1775. Ninety Six borders on Lake Greenwood and is close to the city of Greenwood and blends historical significance with modern amenities and rich natural resources.
