Kirksey, SC is located in Greenwood County and according to the census bureau the town has a total area of .85 sq miles. Ninety Six is the closest other town to Kirksey and it is not far from Lake Greenwood and Lander University. In terms of density it is home to approximately 400 full time residents but in the spring and summer months its population increases as people are drawn to the areas diverse geography, large lakes and abundance of parks to enjoy the outdoors.
