Hodges, SC is located in Greenwood County and was named after Major General George Washington Hodges, who was the commander of the South Carolina militia. Hodges was born September 9, 1792 and died March 24, 1878 having survived and fought in the War of 1812. In terms of density the town has a total area of .77 sq miles and is home to approximately 500 full time residents but in the spring and summer months its population increases as people are drawn to the areas diverse geography, large lakes and abundance of parks to enjoy the outdoors. I would like to thank SERVPRO for coming to my rescue May 2013. My next door neighbor's water heater burst and the water came into my unit. When I got from work I could not believe the damage the water had caused. It only took SERVPRO about 30 minutes to arrive after they were called. They started the work, and worked for several hours getting the water up, and putting fans and dehumidifiers out to dry the water. They came out every day to monitor the job.

SERVPRO has helped me with water damages on 2 occasions. Once when I accidently left the sink running, and another time when the line to my dishwasher burst. They were prompt and courteous on each occasion. I live alone, and they went out of their way to help me get my home back to normal.
