Hodges Cleanup and Restoration

Hodges, SC is located in Greenwood County and was named after Major General George Washington Hodges, who was the commander of the South Carolina militia. Hodges was born September 9, 1792 and died March 24, 1878 having survived and fought in the War of 1812. In terms of density the town has a total area of .77 sq miles and is home to approximately 500 full time residents but in the spring and summer months its population increases as people are drawn to the areas diverse geography, large lakes and abundance of parks to enjoy the outdoors.
