Abbeville, founded in 1785, is a charming city that is steeped in history. It is considered the birthplace and deathbed of the Confederacy. Abbeville county is roughly 508 miles and home to about 24,000 people with the city of Abbeville having a population of approximately 5,200 people. It is home to multiple fairs and festivals with 2 of the most popular being the Spring Festival and the Hogs & Hens.
