Mont Alto Pennsylvania is a small town in Franklin County.  The town began with about 800 people in 1915 and over a hundred years later has about 1580. The town is best known for being home to Penn State Mont Alto College Campus. Their top majors are Biology, Computer, and Information System Security.



While this town does not have a downtown sidewalk area you can enjoy your time outdoors. The state parks are a great spot to explore that brings people from all areas. From the Caledonia State Park, Pine Grove Furnace, and Michaux State Forest that have the Appalachian trails.  With a short drive other activities include Penn National Golf Course, Mister Ed’s Elephant Museum, and Totem Pole Playhouse.
