Tillamook, Oregon is the county season Tillamook County. It is on the southeast end of Tillamook Bay on the Pacific Ocean. Nicknames include “Land of Many Waters,” and “Land of Cheese, Trees, and Ocean Breeze”. The motto is Gateway to the Oregon Coast.
The city is named for the Tillamook people, a Native American tribe speaking a Salishan language who lived in this area until the early 19th century. Anthropologist Franz Boas identifies the Tillamook Native Americans as the southernmost branch of the Coast Salish peoples of the Pacific Northwest. The name “Tillamook” Boas reported, came from the Chinook.
Captain Robert Gray first anchored in Tillamook Bay in 1788, marking the first recorded European landing on the Oregon coast. Settlers began arriving in the early 1850s. The Territorial Legislature established Tillamook County in 4/53. They laid out the town in 1862, and they opened the first post office in 1866.
During World War II, the United States Navy operated a blimp patrol station near the town at the Naval Air Station Tillamook. The station was decommissioned in 1948, and the remaining facility now houses the Tillamook Air Museum.
When disasters such as leaks/floods/water damage or smoke/soot/fire damage come to the Tillamook Air Museum, businesses, or homes throughout the area, SERVPRO professionals have the experience, skills, and technology to restore the property to pre-damage conditions.

Services We Provide
What our Tillamook customers are saying
We waited almost 5 weeks for another contractor to get us a cleaning estimate for cleaning our Lodge facilities after the Camp Fire tore through Paradise only to leave several unanswered messages. One of our Lodge members mentioned that SERVPRO was working right up the street. Woody Nelson approached SERVPRO's Anthony Noble about cleaning the Lodge for smoke and soot damage from the fire. Anthony and Matt were there within 2 hours to see what we needed. We had a detailed, comprehensive estimate to present to the insurance adjustor within a week. Keep in mind that this facility is over 20,000 square feet in area and covers 2 stories. The bid was accepted and cleaning was commenced shortly after. These people brought the necessary resources and personal to complete the cleaning process rapidly, professionaly, safely and cautiously, without damage, while working under some pretty extreme weather conditions, not to mention the complete devastation surrounding us in the town of Paradise. There was excellent communication throughout the arduous process of this huge undertaking.
I can't thank SERVPRO and their professional staff enough for their Caring and Professional work in restoring our Masonic Lodge to its sparkling appearance and would recommend this company without reservation to anyone who needs or requires their service.
