Water damage in New Miami

Situated just north of Hamilton is the Village of New Miami. Once the site of Armco Steel the village is a small nit community of working class Americans. During the historical 1913 Flood most if not all of New Miami suffered catastrophic water damage as a result. This flood caused the loss of most properties and resulted in the unfortunate deaths of too many residents. The Miami Conservancy District has taken control of the river and its banks in an effort to prevent future flooding. The MCD along with local municipalities along the Great Miami River have all done a major part in reducing the water that enters the river and controlling what mother nature drops from above to help future water damages. SERVPRO of West Hamilton/Oxford works regularly in the properties of New Miami helping its residents live a normal healthy life with their families. New Miami has several locally owned business's but few as popular as Couches market providing quality meats as well as boasting a greenhouse full of heirloom vegetables. The New Miami fire department operates in conjunction with St. Clair Township to serve the community in the event someone has a fire damage their home. Made up of volunteers the entire organization has a remarkable history of responding to the needs of the village. Policed by the Butler County Sheriff's department New Miami residents are able to rest easy knowing that help is always near by. SERVPRO of West Hamilton/Oxford is also close to the village to offer resources to both the fire and police departments when called into action.
