College Corner Water, Fire and Mold damage

Located just north of Oxford Ohio and south of Richmond Indiana is the town of College Corner. Collage Corner is a small farming community with an estimated population of 400 people. It was given its name because it is located at the northwest corner of College Township which was the designated site of Miami University. Howe Tavern is one of the older building in College Corner and is listed on the historic places national registry. Not much more needs to be said about the town itself other than the community takes care of each other. With that being the case everyone looks out for their neighbors no matter if its water damage or fire to keep an open eye is always helpful in small rural areas. On the outer edge of College Corner is the home of Hueston Woods state park with many opportunities for hiking and observing nature. Heuston Woods also is home of Acton Lake a great fishing destination for anglers of all skill levels. SERVPRO of West Hamilton/Oxford has worked on several projects for the state at various structures in the park. A few years ago during the winter a camper left a cabin without the heat on allowing a pipe to freeze causing significate water damage to the historic cabin. The West Hamilton/Oxford SERVPRO® team was able to dehumidify and repair the building back to its original charm in just a few short weeks.
