The Borough of Deal in Monmouth County, NJ was first settled in 1660. This affluent community boasts some amazing mansions throughout the town but especially along the beachfront. In 2022 it was rated as the most expensive zip code in NJ with a median home price of $2.4 million. A high percentage of the population are Orthodox Sephardic Jews, mainly of Syrian origin. There are several synagogues and churches in town including the Synagogue of Deal and St. Mary’s of The Assumption Roman Catholic Church.
What is now Norwood Ave. was first constructed in the early 1700s as the Long Branch-Deal Turnpike. Many of the large homes near the ocean are over 100 years old and are used as summer retreats, which causes the population to swell over 10-fold during the summer. The combination of older/historic homes and the proximity to the coast has kept SERVPRO busy with many remediation jobs following coastal storms and following deep freezes. We have also helped many homeowners with fire damage restoration and proudly support the Deal Fire Department.

Rachel was great to work with!
These guys were amazing. Had mold all over my basement and had already gotten ripped off by excessive testing and a lot of people wanting my money. This branch took the time to explain everything to me, make sure I wasn't spending more than I could, and ensuring the job was done fast and complete. They were very professional. The team had to be here for a week, and every single day, came in smiling, friendly, respectful, and again, explaining everything they did. Job was done complete, and I will absolutely use them again (although of course I hope I don't have to). Rachel and Don were exceptional.
