A Community with a Rich History and is Still Thriving Today

The borough of Audubon, New Jersey was initially settled in the late 17th Century. It grew and was developed over the years and there was a boom in the 1890's when the train stations were established. Many people know that it was named for John James Audubon, the naturalist. Today a little less than 10,000 people call the community home. There are several notable people that were born or grew up in Audubon including NFL Quarterback Joe Flacco who was born there in 1985. There are great places to eat and shop in and around the area. One of the neighborhood favorites is The Kove Restaurant. The Lamaina family offers casual fare prepared the old fashioned way. They also offer a place where lifetime memories are made. People that eat there remember the atmosphere and the excellent food, but other memories are made at the Kove. It is a special place for weddings and other special events held in the large second floor ballroom. For additional food and entertainment Audubon is a short drive to Philadelphia.
