School House No. 6 is the last one-room schoolhouse still standing in Temple, New Hampshire. This building once served as one of six schools in the area, where all the children learned in a single room. Different grades were seated together. The building was saved and restored by the Temple Historical Society and moved to a new location. The school was carefully restored to reflect its appearance during its active years.

Family Summer Bingo is taking place at Temple Town Hall on Monday, July 17, 2025, at 4:00 p.m. This free, family-friendly event invites residents of all ages to enjoy a lively round of bingo in a welcoming community space.  

On Saturday, September 20, 2025, Temple will host its Quarter-Millennium Birthday Celebration at the Town Common. This historic event marks 250 years since the town's founding and will feature music, food vendors, and exhibits. 

Warm up this winter at the Temple Historical Society's Souper Lunch on Tuesday, December 2, 2025, beginning at 11:30 a.m. at Friendship Hall. Enjoy homemade soups, fresh rolls, desserts, and a drink while catching up with neighbors.
