Built in 1888, it is ten feet by twelve feet and was initially used as a holding place for transient travelers. It contained a box stove, two chairs, a lamp, and a narrow board for sleeping. The structure was carefully restored and formally dedicated on October 21, 1989. In 2016, the roof was replaced to help protect the building long-term.
