History of Meridian, MS
Meridian was established in 1860 at the junction of the Mobile and Ohio Railroad and Southern Railway. The entire economy was based off railways and goods. Railroads are still a major factor in Meridian to this day. The annual Soule Railroad festival is a must for train enthusiasts. Meridian has grown and shrunk many times over the years but still retains its down-home roots. SERVPRO of Meridian is proud to be part of a vibrate community.
