Having reliable and fast water damage restoration and fire damage restoration is absolutely a necessity for the city of Flowood, Mississippi, considering it started as a small town on a floodplain of the Pearl River. Incorporated in 1953, the small, barely established town wouldn't even make it a decade before being hit with major flooding, thus inspiring a levee system to be completed shortly thereafter. Feeling more secure with the levees, Flowood rebuilt, and would continue to grow and prosper until natural disaster struck again. In 1979, heavy rains would devastate the area with flooding, but determined residents and strong leadership rebuilt again, this time with stronger and smarter plans. Flowood continued to expand it's borders through annexation, and this small town would become the city of Flowood in 1990. Flowood is unique to the state of Mississippi, it is one of a handful of cities that consider the architecture an integral part of what makes a city prosper. Flowood offers amazing commercial and residential structures, appealing for a number of reasons. Vast and beautiful subdivisions are only minutes away from the aesthetically pleasing commercial areas. Flowood has the Jackson-Medgar Wiley Evers airport on one of it's borders, and has major highways and interstates close to or running through it, the most popular being Lakeland Drive. Lakeland Drive (Highway 25) was part of the area annexed by Flowood in 1969, and it is a booming stretch of highway that contains just about every type of business one could imagine. In 2002, Dogwood Festival Market was built on Lakeland Drive, and besides being a 187,000 square foot open shopping experience, the area around "Dogwood" began to grow exponentially. Today, Flowood continues to add to it's population, it is a much desired area to settle in. In August of 2022, heavy rains came again, and Flowood had available, and fast response for water damage restoration, and some fire damage restoration.

We had the first floor of our home flood due to a overflowing toilet. After contacting our insurance company SERVPRO of Brandon was at our house within 1.5 hours. The timing was excellent considering we live about a hour from them. Richard & Patrick arrived the first day. They were incredibly professional & hard working. Within two hours they had the flooring out and fans put out to dry the concrete. They answered all questions we had and addressed any concerns. Davie has been coming out to check the fans he too is very professional and thorough. The service we have received has been exceptional. Although we never want anything like this to happen again we would definitely use them if needed.
I would highly recommend Vinny and his staff at SERVPRO of Brandon. They were prompt to address the issue I had, and very thorough and professional as they corrected the issue. If I ever have another issue in the future, SERVPRO will be the one I will call.
I had a bad leak that ruined my bathroom wall, ceiling and the adjacent closet wall. SERVPRO of Brandon was sent to clean up the water damage, dry out what they could and remove the mold infested walls and ceilings. Richard, Derek and Jason were our service technicians. They always provided consistent information along with quality work. They kept us informed the entire time about everything and communicated with our insurance adjuster. Hopefully we never need this type of service again but if we do, SERVPRO of Brandon will be our first call.

While we didn't actually end up needing SERVPRO (thankfully) - I was so impressed with the service we got from Derek and Vince. Derek came out to see the extent of the damage and gave some great advice - he even came back a few days later to make sure everything was dry. Super professional and courteous. While I hope I don't need them again - I will absolutely call immediately if I do! Great team!
