When Water-Fire-Storm Damage Happens in Canton, We're Ready.

Canton is a city in Lewis County, Missouri. Canton is the home of Culver-Stockton College, a small liberal arts college affiliated with the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ). It also had the oldest continuously operating ferry across the Mississippi River, which closed in April 2014. Four members of the United States House of Representatives have come from Canton, and are buried in the city's Forest Grove Cemetery. The city, which is believed to be named in honor of Canton, Ohio, predates the surrounding Lewis County by three years, having been founded in 1830, whereas the county would not be created from part of Marion county until 1833. It was founded by Issac Bland, Robert Sinclair, and Edward White—the latter constructing the town's first home in February 1830.

Being right on the Mississippi River, Canton has seen its share of flooding. In 1851, a major flood destroyed the town of Tully just North of the city causing Canton to grow with the displaced. Flood damage came again in 1929, 1973, 1993, and 2008. The latter flooding was less severe because of a levee system installed in the 1960s.  In June 2013 a new "levee walk" and wetlands area was added to the Canton riverfront.

Unfortunately, even Canton can be struck by water and flood damage, fire damage, mold infestations, and biohazards. So, when residents and business owners in the Canton area need a premier cleanup and restoration company, SERVPRO is prepared to help. With two thousand franchises across the United States and Canada, we are Faster to Any Size Disaster and dedicated to arriving onsite within one hour of your call.

What our
Canton customers are saying

One the team members, Zach, complimented my home despite the basement having been flooded and all of the carpet needing to be pulled. It reminded me that we still have an amazing house. Devon, a supervisor, also complimented the home. They worked hard and cleaned well and were as transparent as they could be.

John Johnston

Came promptly. Courteous, professional. Great job!

Joan Groom

Great job, Zach, jayxe, Aidan, Maggie! Very professional and exact on job and how all was done!

Diane Kocher

Tim was able to quickly and professionally help with mitigation of flooding through an egress window in the basement. He also provided direction for me to do some of the work myself saving me hundreds.

Steve

The crew from Quincy are the ones who worked on my water problem and they did a great job and I would recommend them to anyone. I had to use the Hannibal QR code instead of the Quincy one because the Quincy code doesn’t work!

Mike Buckert

The men who worked on my home were amazing !! Nick and Steve (I think their names were Nick & Steve) put my flooring in sooo beautifully! Every crew who came in and out of my home were knowledgeable and so helpful

Amber Reed

Great service. Had carpet cleaned and air ducts cleaned. Efficient, friendly and thorough. Would definitely recommend and use again

Becky Campbell

The two people that cleaned my carpet were very courteous and did a great job.

Pam Ummelmann

Maggie and her team did a great job getting everything cleaned up and dry from our broken pipe water leak.
