Nestled in the southeast part of Zeeland Charter Township, Drenthe, Michigan is an unincorporated community. It was named for the province of Drenthe in the Netherlands, and is primarily an agricultural community, founded in 1847. Drenthe is still a farming community at heart, but many of its current residents work in factories and other places of business. Residents thoroughly enjoy Drenthe Community Grove which is a 20 acre parcel park that has space for almost every sporting activity imaginable. The Dozeman Center offers indoor space which is available to rent for gatherings up to 150 guests.
