Beaverdam, Michigan is an area, or hamlet, in Zeeland Charter Township located in the southeast corner of Ottawa County. A founding date has not been obtained, but research has found the earliest mention of Beaverdam in a book dated 1895. It is home to Beaverdam Berries which started with only one acre of red raspberries in 2009, expanding to two and a half acres of all different berries today. They have even grown some strawberries the size of an adult hand! Beaverdam also has its own cemetery which is owned and maintained by the Beaverdam Christian Reformed Church.
