Cambridge Cleanup and Restoration

I cannot recommend SERVPRO of Belmont/Cambridge highly enough! We discovered an area of mold in the non-profit I volunteer for, and it needed to be dealt with immediately. I called SERVPRO and they jumped into action. The owner, Michael, was fantastic and very accommodating to our tight schedule. Sergio, Roberto, and their team of workers were all polite, efficient, and very professional. They worked quickly and went the extra mile to make sure the area was thoroughly disinfected, clean and dry. We are so grateful for their help and will continue to use their services!

I had water damage in a basement space with rugs and exercise mats and other stuff. I called SERVPRO because I had seen their trucks around and really did not know who else to call. I am so glad I called them because they were able to help me salvage some of the stuff that I thought would have to be replaced. They took all the rugs and mats and cleaned them off site. This was great because I could never have done that, no space for one and no equipment or know-how. Furthermore I would have just spread around mold and mildew in the rest of the basement. Anyway they also told me how to clean what I could clean myself which was cool because that is work they were basically taking away from them selves. Once the area was clear they came back and cleaned everything, set up these big dryer boxes, and after it was clean and dry they put the mats back and all the rugs they were able to clean. The place for the first time didn't smell like a basement! Honestly it was cleaner than it had ever been. They really turned a horrible situation for me into a tolerable one. I hope you never need their services but if you do I would strongly recommend them.

SERVPRO staff were quick to respond, courteous, thorough--and convincingly concerned with our welfare. They used sophisticated drying equipment, checked on the dryness of our floors daily, answered our many questions politely and patiently. We recommend them highly!!

Last winter, our basement utility room was flooded, and it took us a long time to find the source of the water. We were very fortunate that SERVPRO was able to get to us quickly, because they saved us from much more damage to our utilities and our apartment. Sergio and his crew were lifesavers and we remain very thankful to them. We hope you will never need their services, but if you do, call SERVPRO right away. You will be glad you did.

I've never done a review before, but I have to praise SERVPRO for their fantastic service. The cleanup was fast and efficient, and I couldn't be happier. The site manager, Sergio, did a great job and my overall experience was way over what I was expecting. I highly recommend them and I will use them again in the future.

The Belmont/Cambridge division of SERVPRO super ceded my expectations, they were efficient, honest and knowledgeable. I am a realtor and needed their services within a very small window of time and Michael Pridham and his team led by Sergio were amazing. We recently hired SERVPRO of Cambridge/Belmont to remove and dispose of the old plaster and lathe ceiling  and wood panel walls in the basement of our 1928 house so that we can finish the space.  They were very responsive, came out quickly for the quote and scheduled the job for the next week.  I had concerns about the amount of dust there would be, so they took precautions with negative air pressure machines in the basement and hepa air scrubbers on the first floor in case any dust came up through our hard wood floors.  Their guys worked hard and by the end of the day the ceiling was down and the debris was gone.  They came back the next day to wash everything down and seal the walls.  This was a messy job, but when they were done out basement was in great shape (and our first floor stayed clean, too.)  We were really happy with the end result.  I would recommend them to anyone who needs to safely demo an old space.

My daughter is attending school in Cambridge, MA and broke her ankle on May 5th,  finals week. We live in Arizona and ran into a bind and needed help fast finding a company to pack out and store my daughters items over the summer. Her roommates backed out sharing a facility, the night she broke her ankle, and we needed to find something fast. I've worked with SERVPRO in Arizona and thought I would call the local SERVPRO in Cambridge/Belmont to see if they could recommend a pack out company to assist. I called their office and left a message with the answering service. Within 5 minutes, I received a call from the SERVPRO owner, Michael Pridham. I explained the situation about my daughter and asked if he knew any names for pack out/storage facility. Michael first apologized about my daughter situation and then said they would take care of my daughter! Oh, by the way, Michael called me while on vacation in California. He told me a Sergio from the office would call and handle everything with my daughter. Within 15 minutes, I had a call from Sergio - amazing again! Sergio bent over backwards making sure my daughter was taken care of while my wife and I were 2000+ miles away. He brought her boxes and even asked if she needed help packing. Little to say, everything was handled quickly, professionally and our anxiety was short lived. I've never worked with the SERVPRO franchise in MA but they were awesome from start to finish. Michael and Sergio bent over backwards to help and we can't thank them enough. I've always believed that good people make a business successful. When you have a franchise owner and an employee that care, good things happen. I can certainly say without a doubt, that SERVPRO of Cambridge/Belmont made our lives much easier. Thanks again Michael and Sergio - you certainly made a difference in our lives.
