West Liberty is located in the middle of Morgan County. It is a lovely town with a lot to do! It has a tight knit community that is supportive of their local area! West Liberty is home to the Sorghum Festival which has over 50,000 attendees. It is the last full weekend of September and has been an ongoing festival for 55 years. The entire downtown is shut down and there are two civil war reenactments that go on during the festival. The festival also features a lot of food, arts and crafts that are Appalachian focused. 

West Liberty has four elementary schools in the area. It has one middle school and one high school. It also has one lending library which is an extension of the Mt. Sterling Library.
