The electrical bond between the wall in the uppermost corners of a hall or corridor and the particles causes soot tags to form. A special in-house cleaning agent helps break the electrical charges and prevent future accumulations.
Greenwood was initially named Smocktown (1823) because several of the original occupants were from the same family. Then it was renamed Greenfield (1828) - until townsfolk found another Indiana city of the same name (1833). Since then, the City has helped pave the way out West for many settlers, with railway routes passing through here on their way to other places.
