If you’re headed to the boat launch at Sportsman’s Park, make sure that you stop at the Ace Hardware on the way there to stock up on ice, bait, and sunscreen. Once you’re done on the lake, hopefully you’re in town for the annual Aberdeen Days. They’ll have great local foods and entertainment and a parade for the whole family to watch. Aberdeen is mostly known for its agriculture, so every year in September the kids are let out of school for two weeks to allow families the time and focus on harvest. It’s an amazing Idaho tradition that still stands strong. Everything you could need from a doctor and dentist to recreational vehicles is right there on Main Street through the middle of town. It may be only one square mile, but Aberdeen, Idaho has a BIG personality.
