When you think of larger-than-life you might not think of Brooklyn Iowa but you should. When RAGBRAI came through town Alexander Wehrle created an idea, he worked hard to create his flag display to create a Community of Flags. This display features flags from all of the 50 states and any international flags for local exchange students. This display can be seen from Interstate 80 that passes just south of town. If you make the stop into town he HIGHLY recommend stopping into the Classic Deli and Ice Cream Shoppe which serves homemade pies and one of the best tenderloins in Iowa.
