Mayport Cleanup and Restoration

Thank you Team Rachel, Stephanie, Lauren, Erek and Kyle (affectionately referred to as Karl)! You all made this very stressful cleanup bearable. This team was always prompt and communicated arrival and departures ahead of time which I greatly appreciated. They found items in the hoard I truly never thought I’d see again bringing tears to my eyes. They cleaned and disposed of items no one should have to deal with and endured days of horrific smells sweating in the heat. I thank each of you for all your energy and hard work on this cleanup. Thank you all again!!!

On July 26, 2026, we had a tree fall on our home during a severe wind and rain event. The tree broke through the roof, allowing rainwater to enter a Jack-and-Jill bathroom. After getting the roof cleared enough to install a temporary tarp and removing as much water from the affected area as we could, we contacted our insurance carrier the following day. Once we were able to speak with our adjuster, he contacted ServPro, who quickly got in touch with us. Ray from ServPro arrived promptly to assess the damage. He performed a visual inspection, checked for moisture penetration, and contacted a mitigation team consisting of Adonis and Sabrina. They arrived quickly and did a fantastic job removing the damaged bathroom ceiling, covering the exposed area, removing debris, treating the area to help prevent mold and mildew, and thoroughly drying everything out. Before they left, they cleaned up the work area as well as any areas they used to enter and exit the house. They left a fan in place to dry any remaining moisture and walked me through all of the work they had completed. Another ServPro team also came out to redo the tarp and secure it until the roof repairs can be completed. We're very pleased with the work ServPro did during this very challenging time for us. Matt, Adonis and Erik were prompt and professional and answered all of my nervous Nellie questions with patience. I was worried my floors were going to need to be ripped up, but instead of “overcharging and servicing” they were very honest and said they didn’t think it was necessary until they tried a different route, which was much more cost effective. Anyone who isn’t trying to upscale or upcharge a service and fixes the problem is truth worthy and worthy of anyone’s business. Thanks guys!

Rachel K. And her team of Kyle and Erek did a tremendous job cleaning every surface of our musty smelling old garage. The space is like new and we can finally make use of it again. Can’t say enough about the great work and project management by Rachel. She arranged to have our ducts cleaned throughout the house too and that turned out fantastic. Big improvement in the overall air quality and HVAC efficiency since the cleaning. Really worth the money for the SERVPRO services we selected very reasonable and highly recommend the quality work and professionalism.

Rachel, Stephanie, and Lauren went above and beyond straightening up my mom's house at Jax Beach. They spent all day cleaning and organizing. Rachel got me booked within 48 hours of my inquiry. 5 stars!
