Marineland FL is located near the Atlantic Ocean and just 18 miles south of St. Augustine. This town was established in 1940 and was originally used to film marine life. A huge attraction is the Marineland Dolphin Adventure, this facility lets guests interact with Atlantic bottlenose dolphins. It spreads 125 acres between the ocean and the Intracoastal way. In 2006, it reopened with a 1.3 million-gallon facility! This educational facility has dolphin training demonstrations, brings shark and sea turtle awareness, and the opportunity to see the beautiful fish that our oceans contain.
