When Water, Fire, and Storm Damage Happens in Indiantown, We're Ready.

Whether you're looking for restoration, cleaning or construction services in Indiantown, we're here to help 24/7.

Unique to the rest of Martin County, Indiantown, FL is situated in the heart of Florida’s citrus and cattle country.  Settled by the Seminole Indians early in the 19th century, the dry lands of the area offered ideal camping and hunting grounds.  Indiantown is a small, quiet town about 15 miles west of Stuart, FL and 8 miles north of the Palm Beach County Line. One of the most famous places you will find is the Seminole Inn, a charmingly restored inn that captures the grandeur of old Florida.  In 2006, the Seminole Inn was added to the National Register of Historic Places and retains much of the feel and look of the past, including the large colorful murals along the hallways depicting the “old life” of the Seminole people. The Seminole Inn was built by Baltimore banker S. Davies Warfield, who arrived in Indiantown in the 1920’s.

Warfield planned on making Indiantown the southern headquarters of his Seaboard Coastline Railroad, and he laid out streets, built a school, constructed houses and a railroad station.  The Seminole Inn is known by most locals now as the place to go for a great dining experience, especially the brunch on Sunday’s. Indiantown is also known for the Barley Barber Swamp, which was once a vast Bald Cypress forest and waterway in the Greater Everglades watershed.

The old-growth cypress swamp is named after Barley Barber, a man who lived in the area at the turn of the 20th century. Little is known of Barley Barber except that he left the region after he had “trouble with the law.” In 1972, Florida Power & Light bought the swamp and surrounding lands to set aside as a wildlife preserve.  Its natural beauty remains intact and provides a rare glimpse of the “Old Florida.” As well as being a wildlife sanctuary, the site is also significant from an archaeological perspective as pottery fragments and other artifacts have been found on the site, indicating Native American use between 300 and 900 years ago.

Unfortunately even Indiantown can be struck by water and flood damage, fire damage, mold infestation and biohazards. So, when residents and business owners in the Indiantown area need a premier cleanup and restoration company, SERVPRO is prepared to help.

A small mold problem was detected around our a/c unit that required immediate attention. We were away. We called them and they responded immediately, they removed some dry wall, dried out the area with fans and replaced the drywall and taped and primed it as part of the remediation process. They were trustworthy and excellent to deal with, Maria kept us up to date almost every day and Dean was excellent to work with. The job was done quickly and very well with courtesy and professionalism. I recommend them, hopefully we won’t need them again, but if needed I would call them again!…… Hobe Sound, Martin County Fl.
