Harrington, formerly known as “Clarks Corner”, was founded in 1780 by Benjamin Clark.  Clark built his home and a tavern that became a rural trade center, that allows farmers to barter and trade their goods.  For this reason, in 1856, the Delaware Railroad established a junction that allowed easier travel into Wilmington and Philadelphia. In 1862, Clarks Corner became know as Harrington, named for Delaware Railroad chancellor, Samuel Harrington.

They explained everything to me that was going to take place as far as my clean up of the water damage that my home sustained. They handled that job so well and they packed my things up and moved them to a spare bedroom. They started right away drying all my floors, walls and even under my home.
