A Haven for Nature Lovers

Beacon Falls is a small town with a lot of space! It is the home to Matthies Park, a historic 300 acre park where residents can enjoy the use of eight hiking trails and traverse Carrington Pond by kayak or canoe.  With a number of access points to the Naugatuck River, Beacon Falls is an ideal town for nature lovers.

Anything can Happen

As with many towns on a river, Beacon Falls can be affected by severe weather such as hurricanes, and flood damage they bring. In the not so distant past, one of the 2018 tornadoes that hit Connecticut caused devastation to our town. A number of houses and businesses were destroyed by the wind as well as the rain that accompanied it. SERVPRO had crews out on the road ASAP, boarding up houses, tarping roofs and removing trees limbs. The work from the tornado cleanup went on for months, as we helped property owners restore and rebuild their homes in the wake of such destruction.
