Manhattan Beach is known as The Pearl of the South Bay, and that is for good reason.  We have Some of the most beautiful beaches in all of Southern California.  So beautiful in fact, that in the 1920’s when the sand dunes were being flattened to make way for our great city the sand was shipped across the Pacific Ocean to turn the rocky coral beaches of Waikiki, Hawaii into the sandy vacation spot it is today.

We enjoy amazing weather year-round.  Being right on the Pacific even when our SoCal neighbors are dealing with the sweltering summer heat we rarely get above 80 degrees, our average high temperature is between 69 and 71 degrees.

Manhattan Beach is also a mecca of Beach Volleyball.  Every year we hold the Manhattan Beach Open, AKA “The Championships” and “The Wimbledon of Volleyball”.  But that’s not all we have to offer, with out 80+ Zagat rated restaurants there is something to satisfy even the pickiest foodie.
