Just outside of Sacramento, Folsom has easy going weather, many homes and thriving businesses. The SACRT transit Light Rail train comes through which is called the Gold Line. During its early days, Folsom had an area called Folsom Prism, which is still there today. One of the four major colleges such as Folsom Lake College is set in the city which is apart of the Los Rios College District which has three other colleges in its area.
